Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026
Miami Business Finder (“we”) operates an independent business directory for Miami-Dade County. This policy describes what we actually collect. We do not sell personal information.
Information about businesses
Business listings are compiled from public and openly-licensed data sources (see Data Sources). This is information about businesses, not website visitors. We intentionally avoid publishing personal information that is not part of a business’s public identity — for example, we suppress street addresses and map pins for businesses that appear to be home-based or service-area only.
Information from visitors
- Correction / removal forms. If you submit a form, we receive the details you enter (the listing reference, the issue, your description, and an optional email). We use this only to review and process your request and may email you if you provided an address.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider processes standard request data (such as IP address) to deliver the site and to rate-limit abusive requests.
- Analytics. Analytics are not currently enabled. If we enable privacy-respecting analytics in the future, we will update this policy.
Cookies
We do not set cookies for tracking. Essential cookies may be used only if strictly required for site functionality.
Third-party services
The site is hosted on Vercel. Outbound links (such as a business’s website or social profile) go to third parties with their own privacy practices. Map links open OpenStreetMap.
Your choices and requests
Business owners can request corrections or removal via our correction and removal forms. For any privacy request, contact us via the contact page.
Children
This is a business directory and is not directed to children.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected on this page.
