A no-start can be a battery, starter, fuel, or security-system issue. Jump-starting is not a diagnosis. Use a repair shop if the car is at home; use towing if it is not safe or legal to leave it.
If you are stalled in traffic, make the vehicle visible and call for roadside help. Do not stand in active lanes.
